I just wanted to drop you a line and tell you how much I appreciate your companies rebuilding thoroughness of several of my electrical motors and generators. As you know I drive my antique Jaguars everywhere and a breakdown could be very costly. You have rebuilt my generators for my '59 XK150, 60 Mk 9, '64 E-Type, '48 Mk 4 and the '60 Bugeye, as well as assorted wiper motors and heater motors. I value you as a great supplier and friend!

I believe you rebuilt the starter on my XK150 around 1975, and with over 60K on the odometer since then it still works great. Since our shop opened in 1981 you have rebuilt Lucas components for Jaguars beginning with the 1937 SS100 to the BUTEC alternator on the series III V12. In the hundreds of Lucas parts you've done for us over the years I just can't remember a problem. I quit worrying about Lucas electrical failures a long time ago. As you know if we are restoring an XK or XK-E you get everything that says Lucas and our Smith motors. I don';t give customers a choice in this matter. Gary and I hope you stay in the best of health for a very long time.

I have had a long time relationship with Prix Parts that started back in 1967, when they operated out of a second floor shop in Downers Grove, IL. I was driving Triumphs then. I have restored or repaired many imports over the years, mostly Triumph, MG, Volkswagen and Mercedes-Benz. I have used Prix exclusively to rebuild my generators, starters and alternators.
